I’m a freelance art & cultural critic and creative writer from London.

I enjoy deconstructing what appears to be normalised or subconsciously internalised in popular culture. I’m drawn to the symbologies and mythologies behind everyday life and how we present / understand ourselves through media, art, fashion, identity etc.

My culture writing includes features, opinions, reviews, and interviews. I am also an experienced art critic and have worked closely with art galleries/museums (such as South London Gallery and London Museum). I was previously a contributing writer for FAD Magazine, contributing editor for print zine Art of Conversations, and I was on the Editorial Board at South London Gallery. I also have a first class bachelors degree in history of art & cultural theory.

My fiction writing includes short stories and poetry. I am a potential candidate for the Creative Writing Masters at Goldsmiths University.

Outside of writing, I am a digital strategist for Sky, freelance gallery assistant, English literature tutor, and I run creative writing workshops for young people. I run a weekly book and drawing club for young girls (6-11 years) at The Baytree Centre.
